  2. 1. Check the words you typed -  look for spelling mistakes and syntax errors.

  4. 2. Capitalize words only when you think they will appear       capitalized in the target documents, cancel double quats etc.

  6. 3. Search for close words - synonyms,  acronyms, and variations on words (use a dictionary, enciclopedia, ask your friends, check related books, etc.).

  8. 4. Try to be less specific - use general words defining the topic you are interested in.

  10. 5. Set the searching options of your search engine to find maximum results - use "ANY" instead of "ALL" terms, etc.

  12. 6. Try another search engine.
